Belinda specialises in Compensation law for individuals, and also handles some superannuation matters. She has been employed in the legal industry for several years, in a range of capacities, and joined Stacks/Goudkamp in 37712. Belinda’s expertise lies in handling Workers Compensation claims arising from industrial accidents, and she also conducts Motor Vehicle Accident, Public Liability and Occupiers Liability matters. A member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance, Belinda is an organised and efficient member of the Stacks team.

Personal Injury Litigation Experience

Belinda’s strengths include her problem solving ability, and her efforts to ensure that clients are clear about each step in the legal process. She enjoys the process of researching the law to find a solution to every individual problem. Belinda has worked on a range of compensation cases, including a complex matter involving a young man who suffered a blow to the head whilst at work, resulting in drastic behavioural changes that impacted negatively on his life. She achieved a successful financial outcome for the client, despite the fact that nothing showed up in the pathology to prove the extent of his injuries. 

Superannuation Experience

Belinda also handles claims in relation to policies of insurance where the insurer has denied the benefit, often under a superannuation policy.

Belinda conducts matters for both inter-state and intra-state clients, and for international clients living in Hong Kong and Ireland. She has worked with several non-English speaking clients, sometimes with the aid of an interpreter.

Outside of Work

Recently married, outside of work you may find Belinda busily renovating her new home. A self-confessed “gym junkie”, Belinda worked as a fitness instructor prior to moving to a career in law, and is a lover of sport, both playing and watching. Her Italian heritage often sees her traveling to Italy to visit relatives. A travel lover, Belinda has done several stints overseas, visiting Europe, Egypt, Africa, Canada and most recently, Hawaii.
